Tips and common rejection reasons
- The name on every file must match the passport exactly.
- A blurry, cropped, or glare-covered scan is a common reason a file is sent back.
- Check the passport expiry against this destination before you pay. Many countries expect at least 6 months of validity, and some use a different rule.
- The embassy or government decides the application. We do not guarantee approval.
- Passport validity is shorter than the destination requires.
- The photo shows glasses, a shadow, or a busy background.
- The date of birth or the spelling of the name does not match the passport.
- A supporting visa or residence card was required and was missing or expired.
- A detail in the form does not match the passport.
The embassy or government decides. We do not guarantee approval.

If plans change
Before we submit the file, ask us about a refund of the online payment. After we submit it, the government fee is not refundable. A refusal does not refund the government fee. The full wording is in our refund policy.
